TURKEY & AVOCADO COBB SALAD
This is the perfect SUMMER SALAD: turkey & avocado cobb salad 🥑 Salads do not have to be part of a diet plan!! We’re usually bitter about salads because we associate them as a food we only eat when we’re trying to lose weight but i’m here to show you that they can be soo tasty and satisfying!! Don’t be scared to dress em up with alll the goods 😍
INGREDIENTS:
1 handful spinach
1 handful romaine
3-4 slices sliced hickory smoked turkey
1/4 avocado
1/4 cucumber
1/4 cup tomato
1/4 cup shredded purple cabbage
1/4 cup grilled corn
1/4 cup Ozuke pickled beets
1/4 cup smoked almonds: i made my own in the air fryer
2 TBS Primal Kitchen honey mustard dressing
**measurements are estimates to give you an idea of portions but you definitely do not have to precisely measure out each ingredient :)
The hickory smoked turkey is a great source of protein, the almonds and avocado for healthy fats, plenty of veggies for nutrients + fiber and pickled beets for gut health! This makes for a balanced meal that will increase satiety and stabilizes your blood sugar levels! Plus it’s so simple to throw together that it’s also great for meal prep and to bring as a meal to work with you!
